In February and March, 2018, I'll attempt to complete the 88-temple Buddhist pilgrimage around the island of Shikoku. I am starting this blog to document my journeys and hopefully serve as an additional guide for other english-speakers attempting to do the same.

In Japanese, pilgrims attempting this journey are called "henro," and the word for cat is "neko." I intend this site to document my henro experience, hopefully with plenty of cats along the way.
